According to the Social Security Death Index at www.familysearch.org, William had been a railroad employee and resided in Stanley County, South Dakota at the time of his death. According to Transcription of Scotty Philip Cemetery, Fort Pierre, Stanley County, South Dakota, William's marker states: "Frost, William David, b. 8 Aug 1879, d. 22 Sep 1970, age 91".
