Note:   According to the 1880 Monroe County, Ohio Census, Mary's father was born in Ohio and her mother was born in Maryland.
  In the 1900 Wirt County, West Virginia Census, the widowed Mary and her children reside in Reedy. The record states that Mary is the mother of nine children, seven of whom are living as of that time.
  Mary's death certificate states that she was a widow at the time of her death which was due to uterine cancer.
