Note:   Barbara's 30 November 2009 The Review (Alliance, Stark County, Ohio) obituary is as follows:
  "Barbara J. (Linerode) Freshley, age 84, of Alliance, passed away at 2:18 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring.
  She was born November 16, 1925 in Louisville to Russell and Grace (Johnson) Linerode.
  A 1943 graduate of Louisville High school, Barbara was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church for more than 50 years where she served on various committees and worshipped regularly. An avid gardener and reader, she loved to make floral arrangements and was a member of the Town and Country Garden Club and had many other interests. She was extremely active in the community, delivering Meals on Wheels, a Lexington Ruritans member, and was former member and past president of the Lexington and Greenbower PTA.
  Barbara is survived by six daughters, Kathryn Dixon, Deborah (Steve) Daskalov, Barbara Freshley (Jim Bieri) and Beth (Lee) Gray, all of Alliance, Amy (Jeff) Lebkeucher of Ashland City, Tenn., and Jill McQueen of Canton; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Helen John, Dick Linerode, Paul Linerode, Jerry (Lou) Linerode, Ron (Sophie) Linerode, Marjorie Hunt, Carolyn Bugno, Jim (Beverly) Linerode, and Gary (Gail) Linerode.
  Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Dale A. Freshley, whom she married March 20, 1945, and who died January 24, 2005; one brother, Dale Linerode; and a son-in-law, Jim Dixon.
  A Memorial Service will be held at Noon, January 9, 2010 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. till Noon at the church."
