  She was regularly known as "Kate".
  In the 1870 Carroll County, Ohio Census, Kate is single and resides with her maternal uncle and aunt, John and Nancy McGraw, and their children in East Township. Kate is identified as a housekeeper.
  Dorothy A. Hagan recalled in July 1986 that her grandmother, "Kate McGary Hagan was a strict disciplinarian."
  On 13 July 1986, Stella Hagan Lehr recalled that her grandmother Kate McGary Hagan was "a proud, religious, practicing Catholic...a solid citizen..[who]...lived to be 84 years old."
