Notes
a. Note:   H2981
Note:   Eva pronounced her name with a short "E" as in "EVER". According to herdaughter, Mary Helen, Eva was a piano instructor for many years and attended Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio. Eva completed elementary school.
About two years after her husband, Roy's, death, Eva sold the family home and moved into a smaller home about one and one-half miles east on Edison Street to 13650 Edison Street, NE. Her son, Dale, built the house for her and it was located next door to her daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Terrill's, home. After Eva's death, Eva's granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Marjorie (Hagan) and David Battershell bought her home. As of 2005, Marj still resides in that home.
By late 1967, Eva had become so ill that she could no longer care for herself. At that time she was moved to the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Helen and Charles R. Hagan, on Marlboro Avenue in Marlboro Township where she died of carcinoma of the liver on 29 February 1968.
