Note:   At the age of 18 or 19 years old Al worked in the CCC. The jeep he was in at work overturned and Albert was thrown from the jeep. The top portion of his skull was nearly severed. As a result, he had two silver plates in his head.
  Al served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
  Al worked for the Meigs County Water Department for 33 years and was superintendent of the Tuppers Plains - Chester Water District when he retired in December 1981.
  Albert died of kidney failure.
