Note: Billy Dean Vinson Sr. Obituary Billy Dean Vinson, Sr. Humboldt, TN - Funeral services for Mr. Billy Dean Vinson, Sr., age74, will be held at 12 Noon Friday, June 20, 2014 in the chapel ofReplogle-Lawrence Funeral Home in Medina, TN, with Rev. Jason Jacksonofficiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Gibson CountyMemory Gardens. Mr. Vinson died June 18, 2014 at Tennessee State Veterans Home. He was born in Gibson County, TN, son of the late Ray C. Vinson andThelma Bea Vawter Vinson, and was educated in the county schools,graduating from Medina High School. Mr. Vinson was a retiredself-employed electrician and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He wasBaptist in faith and was a life member and Vice-Post Commandeer of theHumboldt V.F. W. He leaves two daughters, Gloria Jean Harris of Trenton, TN, and Cynthia Gayle Welch and husband Conley of Jackson, TN; two sons, Billy Dean "Bud" Vinson, Jr. and wife Sue of Munford, TN, and Chuck Vinson of Lebanon, TN; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Thelma Alford of Gibson, TN, Dorothy Lenckus of Chicago, IL, Mildred Boyce of Dayton, OH and Wanda Foster of Medina, TN; a brother,Dwayne Vinson of Medina, TN.
