Note:   Obit: Mrs. Martha J. Cox, wife of William Cox, died at her home in Bloomfield, Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock after over five years of illness from stomach and liver trouble.
  She was the daughter of Henry and Mary Ann Miller Waggoner, and was born in Jackson Township January 3, 1858. She leaves a father, two brothers and two sisters besides her husband, and one son, Frank Cox, and two daughters, Mrs Leona Griffin of Mooresville and Maude Cox of this place.
  A short funeral service will be held at the Family residence at 8:30 o'clock A. M. today (Friday). The interment will be in the Ashcraft Chapel Cemetery east of Robison this Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Services conducted by Rev, Shannon Baker.
  The deceased was a good Christian Woman and had been a consistent member of the Christian church since she was fifteen years old. The family have the sympathy of the entire town.
