Note:   Obit: Wm. Cox, well known here, died suddenly of heart disease at his home in Scotland last Friday. He lived here several years ago and was successful in moving heavy machinery and buildings. His first wife died here and his family of children married and located at vatious towns. He was married a second time to Mrs. Hasler, and he has since lived near Scotland. The remains were interred last Sunday afternoon at the Ashcraft Chapel, east of of Robison. The funeral was under the auspices of the I. O.O. F. order.
  William J. Cox was born Jun 13, 1855 in Kentucky, the son of Joshua Cox. His first wife Martha died on July 17, 1907 in Bloomfield. William was married July 25, 1909 to his second wife, Mrs. Margaret J. Hasler. They were residing in the Scotland, IN area when William died on 29 Apr 1920.
