Note: SARAH FRANCIS CRAIG was born on Feb 23, 1853 and died Dec 28, 1905. My original pedigree chart shows "Sarah Francis Craig" b. on 1853. Sarah Francis Craig appears in the "Waggoner, Wagoner, Wagner History and Genealogy" document written by Harold Wagner and Richard Spurr, being born Feb 23, 1853 and died Dec 28, 1905. It shows her married to Joseph (Joe) Finley Waggoner b. Oct 15, 1847. White River Cousins Website shows that Joseph Finley Waggoner married a Sarah Francis Craig, with Sarah's date of birth as Feb 23, 1853 - Dec 28, 1905. The spelling of "Cregg" appears in the Martin County, IN, Birth Records (for an unlisted child born on Jan 28th, 1890). The father being Joseph and the mother being Sarah F. Cregg, book COH-2, 1. This is another unfortunate case of someone mispelling a name, as in the case of my Leota Waggoner's marriage record! Since there are no spellings of Cregg anywhere else, I have decided to use "Craig" because all other relatives and families with this last name, in the area, were spelled this way. All local census records of Lawrence Co. agree with the spelling of "Craig". - M.M.
