a. Note:   MATILDA WILLIAMS appears in my original Pedigree chart supplied by the Reynolds family. She was born Feb 12, 1816 in VA. She died in Lawrence Co., IN at the Age of 75yrs, 8 months on Oct 12, 1891. The 1880 U.S. Federal Census shows that her father was born in Ireland and her mother was born in Virginia. White River Cousins mentions Matilda, b. abt. Feb 1816, died Oct 12, 1891, which is very accurate. She is also mentioned in the "Waggoner, Wagoner, Wagner History and Genealogy" document written by Harold Wagner and Richard Spurr, her birth date being shown as 1817, died at age 75. This too, is accurate. I have a copy of the Marriage Certificate of Russell Waggoner and Matilda Williams stating that the Marriage License was issued on May 27, 1835 and that the following Certificate was filed on May 28, 1835 in the office of Robert Mitchell, Bedford, Lawrence Co., IN (Book A-545). Indiana State Library Genealogy Division shows Russell Waggoner and Matilda Williams married in Lawrence Co. IN on May 28, 1835. White River Cousins mentions Russell Waggoner, b. abt. 1814, d. Apr 10, 1876, Lawrence Co., IN, married on May 27, Lawrence Co., IN, Book A, page 545.
