Note: WILLIAM HENRY HAWKINS was killed by a band Quantrell's men near Dardanville, AR in the Civil War. He was married to Evergreen Buckingham Walker and they had two girls, Rhoda and Julia Ann. From Ed Kadleck: Mr. Hawkins was 73 years of age, a veteran of the Civil War, serving in the 145th Regiment, and was amoung the younger volunteers to enlist. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Alonzo, of Bloomington, and Everett, of Remington.
