Notes
a. Note:   n, his cousin had spent much time together in the wilderness. They had a vey close bond betwwen them. He gave Leonard the nickname Kerdab. Lawrence was having trouble catching fish one day because he couldn't seem to get the hook set in the fish, while Leonard was catching them left and right. When Lawrence asked him how it was doing it so easily, he grabbed his pole, gave it good jerk and said "you got to snatch it up like KERDAB!!! ". After a while of teasing him about catching fish, Lawrence started to call him Kerdab. From that day tell the day Leonard died most everone in the family called him by that name, just from a simple fishing lesson. Lawrence also owned a Nash (a car) that he really liked. Lawrence also liked playing cards and just sitting on the porch. He spent most of the time outside, not just because he liked being there, but because Alice would not let him have beer in the house. He kept his beer in the chicken house. Lawrence was a farmer early in life and then he worked for the company of Power King. He had a dog named Bop Bop and a rabbit dog named Riggs (which got shot three times and outlived Lawrence). Lawrence liked to eat certain meats which today, are considered unpaletable. Cow tongue and squirrel brains just to name a few. His pallette was most likely honed by the great depression. Lawrence and Alice often hosted long card poker games. Lawrence had owned land that he sold to the town of Claypool, so it could extend the cemetery. He also owned the land where Warner Drive is today.
Note:   Lawrence lived next to Graceland Cemetery in Claypool, which a portion of it, he sold to the town from his land that once was a potato field. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He and Leonard Hinkso
