Pearce, 90, of the Houghtaling Rest Home, in Penn Yan, died yesterday at the Soldier and Sailors Hospital after a long illness. (later noted in cursive Jan. 24, 1967). Funeral services will be Thursday at 3:30 p.m. from the Crisfield Funeral Home in Gorham. The Rev. Landrum Wooten, pastor of the Aloquin Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in the Sandhill Cemetery, Seneca. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mr. Pearce was born in the Town of Hopewell, and lived in Aloquin for many years where he worked as a farmer and painter. He had lived in Penn Yan for the past 22 years.
