Notes
a. Note:   IGI Cornwall, England; as of Jan. 1988: Edward Hosking; chr. Jan. 19, 1840, Breage; son of Edward & Christiana Hosking; maybe should be Henry. ----------------------- Joyce Harris, # = records checked: Edward, son of Edward and Christian Hosking; Bapt. 19th Jan 1840 s/o Edward & Christian HOSKING, Poladras Downs, Miner # I believe this should read Henry. Edward baptised in 1832 was still alive in 1841, aged 9, and in the 1841 census, as below, there was a child Henry, aged 17 months. He was probably the Henry HOSKING, Poladras Downs, buried on 10th May 1854 at Breage, aged 14.# In the 1841 census, Edward (a tin miner) and Christian were at Polladras with their children James (11), Edward (9), Christian (7) and Henry (17 months).
