a. Note:   n of the late Mr. Murdoch and Mrs. Gillis of Prince Edward Island, by the Rev. J. H. Miller of Cedar Cottages Presbyterian Church. The bride entered the drawing room on the arm of Mr. F. E. Shook, in the unavoidable absence of her father, to the strains of Lohengrin's Wedding March, played by Miss Edith Shook. The bride was prettily gowned in a pink jersey silk and wore a corsage bouquet of bridal roses. She was attended by Miss Marion Burns, who was dressed in peacock blue willow silk and wore pink carnations. The groom was supported by Mr. D. J. MacKay of Prince Edward Island. His gift to the bridesmaid was a beautiful pearl broach and to the best man a pair of cuff links. The rooms were tastefully decorated and about 30 guests sat down to supper, after which musical selections, vocal and instrumental rendered by Miss Isobel Holmes and Miss Woods.
  The happy couple, who the recipients of many beautiful and useful gifts, left on the midnight boat for a short honeymoon in the Sound cities. On their return Mr. and Mrs. Gillis will take up residence in the Woodland Apartments of this city.
Note:   A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the home Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Shook, 1602 Union Street, when Olive Gertrude, second daughter of Mr. Herbert Harris, pioneer resident of this city, was united in holy matrimony to Mr. John William Gillis, so
