Sproul will celebrate their golden wedding Dec. 31 and will welcome friends at the home of their daughter, Mrs. W. W. Pulsifer, 3813 West Twenty-third Ave., from 3 to 5 in the afternoon and between 8 and 10 in the evening.
Both born in Ontario, Mr. and Mrs. Sproule were married New Years Eve, 1888, in Alma Ontario. they homesteaded in Saskatchewan prior to coming to Vancouver in 1907.
Three of Mr. and Mrs. Sproul's five sons reside in Vancouver, the Messrs. W. R., R. L., and D. E. Sproul while Mr. T. N. Sprould is in Detroit and Mr. C. R. Sproul in St. Petersburg, Florida. Besides Mrs. Pulsifer here, Mr. and Mrs. Sproul have a daughter in Inglewood, Mrs. H. Vogler. There are fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
