Note: Thomas N. Sproule, 62, a summer resident of Bluff road on Old Mission peninsula, died suddenly Sunday morning in Detroit, where he had resided for the pas 28 years. Mr. Sproule was born March 1, 1900 at Oxbow, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Surviving are: the widow, the former Elvira Oleson; three daughters, Mrs. Sally Couch, Mrs. Mary Ellen Rabine, and Mrs. Nancy Weir, all of Detroit; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Pulsifer and Mrs Myrtle Tait, both of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; and two brothers, Lyle and Delbert, also of Vancouver.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday at McInnes-Desmond funeral home in Detroit, with committal services at Oakwood cemetery in Traverse City at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday.
