Note:   The Kemptville Weekly Advance of January 6, 1916 carried this marriage report: "The home of Mrs. James Macintyre, Kemptville, was the scene of a pretty wedding on Wednesday, December 29th, when her daughter, Mary Lucy Donalda, became the bride of Robertson Ross of Martintown. Rev. Dr. MacLeod officiated. Only immediate members of the family were present. The bridal party entered the drawing rooom to the starins of Lohengrin wedding march played by Miss Bertha Van Allen. The bride who was given away by her cousin Mr. C.C. Pelton, was prettily gowned in ivory duchess satin with pearl trimmings and long bridal veil. After luncheon was served Mr. and Mrs Ross left for New York. They will be home to their friends at Martintown after Feb. 5th, 1916."
