Note: GILBERT PLAINS MAPLE LEAF Friday, July 1, 1932, p.1 Mr. Daniel Hunter Passes There passed away at his home at Senlac, Sask., in his 84th year, Thursday, June 23rd, Mr. Daniel Hunter. Mr. Hunter was born in Ontario in 1848. He married Jane McGregor of Renfrew, Ont., in 1875; came west in 1913 and purchased a farm about 10 miles north-east of Gilbert Plains; moved to Senlac in 1918 where he resided till time of his death. He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife, 2 sons and 4 daughters. Alex of Regina, Ephrain of Senlac, Mrs. George Gold of Senlac, Mrs Oliver Wells of Senlac, Mrs. Norman Branchflower of Imperial, Sask., and Mrs. Fred Clary of Gilbert Plains. Also one brother Samuel of Renfrew, Ont. And one sister Mrs. McIntrye of Prince Albert. The funeral was held on Saturday, June 25th, from Senlac.
