Notes
a. Note:   d her Mamo. The nickname stuck, and was used by all the family.
Lane Growcock's memories of Mamo Tedrow were that she made very good homemade bread "Swedish rye", and her house always smelled nice from making bread. She made fantastic stew and only put beef, potatoes, onions, and carrots in it. It was a very thick stew, "not brothy". She was very sure in her faith, and loved all of her family very much. She knew everyone in Valley. I remember once Dad & I visited Mamo at her home in Valley. In the winters of 1975-1977 there was a lot of snow. Mamo noticed I was wearing sneakers and she was worried that my feet would freeze. So she got on the phone and called the store in Valley and told them I was her Grandson and that she was sending me down to get some proper winter boots and to send her the bill. I also remember Mamo loved Grandpa Jack very much. I recall seeing a picture of Mamo Tedrow working in Grandpa Jack's cafe and Grandpa Jack was also in the picture. Mamo had put a sticker that said "sugar" on Grandpa Jack. I remember she made very nice afghans. She grew beautiful African violets that were difficult to grow.
