a. Note:   According to Clara Trudeau, Clara Muller came to the U.S. with sister Elizabeth in 1890. However, she most likely came to the US 2 years later along with her mother. She is listed as a passenger, along with mother Minna, on the ship Gothia that arrived in NYC from Stettin, Germany 28 Nov 1892. Her last place of residence in Europe is listed as Danzig, East Prussia.
