Notes
a. Note:   ore they moved to Peterborough Ontario..John passed and brother Thomas married her and moved west with the 4 boys ..they had four more children alone the way ... Andrew Mather was the son of John and Agnes my direct great grandfather..he moved Asquith Sask. 28 May 2019
I found information regarding the marriage..Is their any more information regarding the couple...I know they had 4 sons, Andrew Mather is my great grandfather.. Died in Asquith Saskatchewan.. Thanks John Mather 3 May 2019
Could be, thoughts: did John Mather run away or die (see census when she was living with father and had son Christopher) - and did she run off to Manitoba Canada with his brother Thomas at about age 50ish? He is 7 years younger, some ages may have been typos
I deleted John Mather on 3/23/18 - seemed to connect to two spouses, John Mather (too young at DOB of 1857?) and a Thomas Mather - brothers? Leaving census records, do have a marriage record for her and John Mather - other members show this (sort of) and having a son named Christopher Mather - deleted all but Agnes to start over.
Note:   in Edinburgh tonight..Off to Lauder..birthplace of Great great grandma Agnes Shaw and Legerwood birthplace of John Mather..first husband of Agnes Shaw...Andrew was the second son of John and Agnes bef
