Notes
a. Note:   " - I don't have any vivid memories of why we loved him so much, I think he just got so happy that we were excited to see him and we got a real kick out of that.
Per Sara Singleton: Dad said that it was either Uncle Charlie or Uncle Eddie who would go on drinking binges and then come live with them in Hasbrouck Heights until he "got better" and then leave and go out on his own. I am thinking Uncle Charlie, I remember Uncle Eddie coming to family gatherings although that doesn't mean he didn't drink a lot - Alma and Neil had some wild parties.
Note:   As kids we were always excited when Uncle Eddie would come over to Nan and Grandad's in Hasbrouck Heights. As soon as he walked in the door we would run to him and scream "Uncle Eddie! Uncle Eddie!
