Note: Mrs. Padgett Buried Sunday Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Langley Baptist church for Mrs. Debbie Padgett, 65, who died at the residence Thursday night at 8:30 o'clock. Dr. W. N. Liddy and the Rev. Herman Crawford officiated and interment follow[ed] in the Langley cemetery. Mrs. Padgett had been a resident of The Valley for the past 44 years. She was an active member of the Langley Baptist church and leaves a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Viola Smith of Langley; and the following grandchildren, Mrs. Ruby Williamson, Miss Gladys Smith, Mrs. Edna Kirkland, Miss Lorene Smith, Miss Lois Smith, all of Langley; Mrs. Bertie Gordon of Clearwater; Adrian Lowe and Millard Lowe, both of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Bernice Stinson of Sanford, Fla., and Mrs. Beatrice Woodson of Deland, Fla.
