Residence 10th and Commers St., Wellsburg, West Virginia Daily Times (New Philadelphia, Ohio) July 11, 1912 Former Roanoke Resident Meets Instant Death Uhrichsville, July 11 - Thomas Croniser, 49, for years a resident of Roanoke, near here, was instantly killed by a train while returning to his home from work in Wellsville, Ohio, Wednesday evening according to a telegram received by his mother, Mrs. Ellen Croniser, of Roanoke, this morning. The details of the tragedy are not known. Croniser is very well known here. He went to Wellsville about six years ago. The body will be brought to this city this afternoon and taken to the home of his mother. His wife and six children survive.
