  Dear Ms Engleman;
  This letter is to see if you might be able to shed any light on my Henry family roots. My ggrandmother was Gustavie Henry, who I believe to be Marie-Augustavie Henry, dau. of Jordan and Emily Henry. She married Nicholas Hammer and they had 7 children. Gustavie and Nicholas are buried in Seabrook Cemetery, just off of Todville Road, Seabrook, Texas
  The 1880 Harris County census list Gustave age 11 and Gustavie age 10. Both listed as male. But through my research I have found the following information.
  1) Noel Jourdain Henry, male, Christened: 23 Jan 1845, Thibodaux, La Fourche, LA. Father: Magloire Henry, Mother: Eulalie Landry 2) Jourdain Henry, married: Emilie Trosclair 09 Jul 1866, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Montegut, Terrebonne, LA. 3) Augustave Henri, male, christened: 20 Nov 1868, Montegut, Terrebonne, LA. Father: Jourdain Henri, Mother: Amelie Trosclair. 4) Marie Augustavie Henri, female, christened: 15 Mar 1870, Montegut, Terrebonne, LA. Father: Jourdain Henri, Mother: Mary Trosclair. 5) Thomas Henry, male, Born 08 Nov 1875, Seabrook, Harris, Texas Father: Jordan Henry, Mother: Emily Trosclair. 6) I have not yet found any birth records for Aleda, Frazier or Eurman Henry 7) My mother recalls an aunt Laura and uncle Felix instear of Aleda and Frazier, but her memory is not what it used to be. 8) There are so many variations of spelling and dates, but I believe all these individuals to be one family.
  Any information you may be able to provide would be greately appreciated.
