Lilly, I hope that your mother is doing better and I have prayed for both of you.
I am digging again for my lost ancestors and was looking for more information on Laurent Gaspard and Marie Cuvillier. Their son Laurent married Marguerite Cesaire LaGrange. Her mother was Margueritte Gros (LaGros). I found the following record in the Archdiocese of New Orleans records volume 5 page 196 the following under the surname Gros (Gro) Marguerite (Glode Josef and Marguerite Michele), m. Jean Lagrange ((@@Lagranche), Jan. 18, 1791 (SJBED, M1, 44) and in V. 3, p. 150: Marguerite (Claude Joseph & Marguerite Michel), baptised Jan 22, 1775, born Jan 12, 1775. s. Adam Vichner and Maguerite Belsome (SJBED, B1,21)
Claude and Marguerite had other children and they are also listed.
On your records you list Father: Jean Baptiste LEGROS Mother: Anne DRUILLION as Marguerite's parents. I am hoping to clear up a conflict! Do you have a source for these parents?
