a. Note:   Informant on death certificate Oscar Edwards.
  Obit Mrs. Minnie Bell Edwards, 69, died in Tucson, Ariz. Saturday. Her body will be returned to Stillwater and funeral services will be at the Strode chapel on Thursday at 2 pm; in charge of Rev. Ellis L. Teasdale, pastor of the Nazarene church. Burial will be in Fairlawn cemetery. Mrs. Edwards was born in Tennessee on May 18, 1890. She married Arthur Marion Edwards and they came to Oklahoma in 1934 and lived here until 1939 when her husband died. She then went to Arizona. Surviving are two sons, Oscar Edwards at Tuscon; F. M. Edwards of Clovis, N. Mex.; four daughters, Mrs. N. C. Johnson of Eugene, Ore.; Mrs. F. H. Smotherman of Clovis; Mrs. Murlin Pitcher of Pittsburg, Cal.; and Mrs. Oryal Lawson of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one brother and two sisters. A son D. L. Edwards preceded her in death in 1933 and a daughter, Mrs. Rurrie Van Dirlet died in 1928. Bearers will be Leonard Woolworth, Max Peery, Frank Payton, Pete Blair, Harrison Stone and Art Ashmore.
  NOTE: THE OBIT HAS DATE OF BIRTH WRONG. SHE WAS BORN IN 1889.
