a. Note:   Notes from Jeneen Nelson - Chris Nelson died in the Los Angeles area. He had moved to LA - but I don't know the date. He was working in the shipyard, as a timekeeper. My father worked in the same shipyard - and it was likely the one at Long Beach. I think the body was shipped back to Iowa, for burial.
  Chris and Jennie separated in about 1932. Chris left - and worked on a farm, north of the Underwood area, for some time. jennie eventually moved into Council Bluffs or Omaha - and ran a boarding house.
