I'm not certain about your uncle's information, nor the question regarding Detlef Naeve, but I'm certain that the information we have on the parents of Cacilia, Anna, Margaretha, Jurgen, Johann and Maria Naeve are Johann Hinrich Naeve and Anna Otte. I believe Lea Sharp and my mother both received similar documents from the Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Kropp, Germany detailing the ancestry of the Naeve family in Friedrichsneuland, Schlewig-Holstein. I would be happy to copy this material and send it to you. It's in German, but I have a very rough translation. As to the Detlef Naeve -- my records show a Detlef Johannes Naeve (b. 1898) as the son of Jurgen Naeve & Catherine Jensen. This is Jurgen the brother of Cacilia, Anna, Margaretha, Johann and Maria Naeve. There is also a Detlef Neve, the son of Peter Naeve and Anna Margaretha Stroh and brother to Johann Hinrich Naeve (who married Anna Otte). This Detlef married Sophia Augusta Roehdanz and they lived in Kankakee, IL. I'm unaware of a Detlef Naeve as a brother to Cacilia, Anna, Margaretha, Jurgen, Johann and Maria Naeve, the children of Johann Hinrich Naeve and Anna Otte. However, the German records state that Anna Otte had 10 children, 4 of them died early (we know 2 were named "Johann" and died before Johann Hinrich was born) and 3 emigrated to the U.S. ( Cacilia, Margaretha, Johann Hinrich ). So I only know the names of eight children, two that died early I don't have their names. Perhaps some of this helps clarify, or not. Please let me know if I can be of further help.
