  I remember my grandmother and grandfather . They took turns living with different ones. I know mother kept them some. Mother's health got bad and she had to quit taking her turn. Granddaddy Hobby told me that he use to drink a lot and I ask him why he quit and he said that he was mean when he drank and he knew that he would kill someone or get killed so he quit drinking (my father drank alot also but was dead when they stayed with mother). Pa Hobby as I called him was a small man the best that I can remember but Ma Hobby was fat (or at least I thought she was) but I was young about 14 or 15 and very small so I might not have been a very good judge. Ma Hobby could not get around much and sat in a chair most of the time on our front porch.
