  Susan (Elbert's sister and my great-grandmother) Granger's family and also Jacob Jones (brother of Elbert; one of Jacob's great-granddaughters is Ann Varnum who lives in Dothan, Ala. She works at WTVY Channel 4.) She told me that Bethel A. was the only son of Jacob Jones; he had six sisters. She also provided a little information on Jacob's wife, Elizabeth Johnson, and Bethel A's wife, Nancy Jones (she was a Jones before marrying Bethel A.).
