Sylvia May Neal, 86 of Mexico died Wednesday November 26, 2014 at her home.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00- 1:50 PM at Arnold Funeral Home.
Sylvia was born on May 8, 1928 in Keene, New Hampshire the daughter of Charles G. and Sylvia (Stoodly) Wilder.
On June 1, 1947 in Brookfield, MO Sylvia married John Paul Neal, he preceded her in death on March 7, 2000.
Mrs. Neal is survived by daughters, Judith Neal Bartlow of Mexico; daughter, Joan Paulette Martin(James E.) of Mexico; son, John Paul Neal, Jr. (Cory Collister) of Gahanna, OH; daughter, Sandra June Benn (Gary) of Mexico; daughter, Candis Neal Baird (Gary) of Columbia; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Along with her husband, Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law, Dennis Ray Bartlow; siblings, John, Grant, Robert, Russell, Raymond, and Roger Wilder, June Laura May Lower, Edith Harrison.
