BURLINGTON - Harold Arthur Wilder, a longtime resident of Burlington, passed away on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, in Birchwood Nursing Home after a long illness.
Harold was born, with his twin brother, on March 4, 1922, the loving son of Harold F. Wilder and Margaret (Leddy) Wilder.
Harold grew up living most of his young life on surrounding area farms, most memorable on the Agnes Keefe farm in Williston, where his father worked for shares and his mother tended the homestead.   Harold was a quiet and gentle man who was kind and courteous to everyone he knew and met.
He will be truly missed by all. Harold is survived by his brother, Gerald A. Wilder of Burlington; sister, Virginia M. (Wilder) Chicoine; nieces and nephew; and extended family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Harold F. and Margaret (Leddy) Wilder; and nephew, Gary R. Chicoine.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Corbin & Palmer Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 71 South Union St., Burlington, in care of arrangements.
