Note: Obituary: George B. Copp, Jr; 58, of Troy passed away suddenly on January 10, 2009 in Newport. He was born December 5, 1950 in Laconia,NH a son of George and Pauline (Weeks) Copp,Sr. In February 1999 he married Debra Trudeau who survives him. Mr. Copp entered the United States Navy and served his Country during the Vietnam War. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved playing bingo and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Debra Copp of Troy, and by the following children: George B. Copp 111 and his friend Bruce Blair of Troy, Christopher Copp of Newport, Frederick Copp of Jaffery,NH, Jessie Rule and her husband Jason of Laconia,NH, and Corey Copp of Laconia,NH, four grandsons, two brothers: William Copp and Gregory Copp both of Laconia,NH, three sisters: Kathy Brown and her husband Clifford of Portsmouth,NH, Karen Roy and her husband Thomas of Laconia,NH and Kelly Walker and her husband Danny of Laconia,NH and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Should friends desire, contributions in his memory may be made to the Frontier Animal Society of Vt, 502 Strawberry Acres Road, Newport, Vermont 05855.
