  George B. Copp GILFORD � George B. Copp, Sr., 79, of 18 Sleeper Hill Road, died at the New Hampshire Veterans Home, Tilton, on Monday, May 30, 2005.
  He was the widower of Pauline L. (Weeks) Copp who died April 7, 2005. He was born Feb. 5, 1926 in Holderness, the son of Lewis and Lillian (Hubbard) Copp. He served in the U. S. Navy from Aug. 7, 1944 to July 3, 1946. He was a longtime resident of Laconia before moving to Gilford ten years ago. He was employed at Midway Excavators for several years. He enjoyedreading and puzzles.
  Survivors include three sons, George B. Copp, Jr. and his wife, Debra, of Newport, Vt.; Bill Copp and his wife, Jenny, of Franklin; Greg Copp of Laconia; four daughters, Jane Reid and her husband, Norman, of Hollis; Kathy Brown and her husband, Cliff, of Rochester; Karen Roys and her husband, Tom, of Gilford, and Kelley Walker and her husband, Dan, of Belmont; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Fred Copp, of Meredith and several nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents and his wife he was predeceased by four brothers, four sisters and two grandchildren.
  According to Mr. Copp's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Veterans Home, 139 Winter St., Tilton, N.H. 03276.
