  BALDWIN CITY - Frances Jean Pippenger, 85, Baldwin City, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa. She was born May 26, 1920, at Overbrook to Lloyd Waldo Moody and Ruth Annie (Tregemba) Moody. She grew up in the Overbrook area. She later lived in Franklin County, moved to Baldwin in 1970 and to Clay Center in 2004. She graduated from Baldwin High School in 1938. She worked at the switchboard at Baker University in Baldwin from 1971 until her retirement. She was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church, Franklin County. She married Clarence B. Pippenger Aug. 30, 1939, at Tauy Church, Franklin County. He preceded her in death June 10, 1995.
