  Jacob is the father of Evaline E. Dunphey and Fred L. Clock. Jacob Clock one of LaSalle's oldest residents died at his home in that township on Wednesday of last week in his 76th year. The deceased was well known in the southern part of the county. He was born in Toronto, Canada, and came here when but a boy. He leaves a widow, two sons, and four daughters. His remains were buried in LaSalle Friday, Rev. Berger officiated. MD, 5-3-1894
