They were only married a few years, then he died, making her a widow for the second time.(Mary Smith) Her daughter, Ellen, was married to Charles Kirchgessner (in this cemetery) who died in 1910. Sometime after 1910, Mary and her daughter, Ellen Kirchgessner, along with her two children, all moved out to California, Los Angeles area. Ellen's two kids died young, daughter at 20, the son at 24.
