ADRIAN-----Mrs Nancy M. Diver Frayer, 88, of 3594 W. Carleton Rd, Adrian, died early this morning in the Lenawee Medical Care Facility in Adrian. She had been ill for 7 1/2 months. Friends may call after 7 tonight at the McNeil and Spencer Funeral Home in Deerfield. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Bates officiating. Burial will be Deerfield Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Deerfield United Methodist church. The daughter of Minard and Katherine Kelnath Diver, she was born Feb. 3, 1887, in Deerfield Township. She married J. Oscar Frayer on March 23, 1911.
Surviving are three sons, Lee Frayer of Manitou Beach, Howard Frayer of Adrian, and Gerald Frayer, of Bell, Calif, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son and two brothers. Bearers were James, Tom, Dennis, and John Frayer, Robert Gibson, and Frank St. Germain. Posted 9 April 2013
