9/3/1900 And Still Another One About 2:30 Sunday morning there was an attempt to raise windows at the home of F.J.Engle, corner of Railroad and Elm street, Mrs Engle was alone in the house and did not get up. She heard them walking on the porch outside and heard them at one of the windows. At the home of Mrs Engle's brother, George Ambacher, living on the same lot in the rear of the Engle home, was aroused by someone attempting to open the window. He jumped up and the would be robbers ran away. He saw three men crossing Railroad street, but could not give a desccription of them. This is the second time Mr Ambacher has been visited by burglars. Some time ago Mr Ambacher entered his parlour very early in the morning, thinking he heard a noise, and saw a man just sticking his head into an open window. The man fled immediately on seeing someone inside.
