Adrian Telegram 2/12/1943 Friday Deaths Leonard G. Engel Palmyra Feb 12- Leonard G Engel, 69 years old, was found dead this morning in his home three miles southwest of Palmyra village, death occuring some time during the night. He lived alone. He had done his chores last evening and had not complained of feeling ill. When his tenant noticed this morning chores were not done he investigated and found Mr Engel dead. Coroner Ed Braun was called and found death had resulted from natural causes. No inquest will be held. Mr Engel is survived by two brothers Frank Engel of Adrian, Peter Engel of Palmyra and three sisters Mrs D B Harrington and Mrs Walter Sheldon of Blissfield and Mrs L C Maloney of Adrian. The funeral will be Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Eastern Standard War Time, in the Tasgold Funeral Home in Blissfield. The Rev C P Hopkins will officiate and burial will be in Palmyra cemetery.
