Bull to compel the children of Gottlieb Ambacher to support their father, attorneys announced to Judge Hart at 12 o'clock this noon that the court would have to settle the dispute over payments. Sophie Engel and George, Will and Charles Ambacher were named defendants in the case and it was thought this morning that they would agree upon their individual shares towards their father's support. The entire morning was spent in conferences and at noon the attorneys decided to go to trial. Judge Hart announced a recess until 1:30 this afternoon when the hearing of the case was taken up. Unless a settlement is reached, it is expected that the case will take two or three days for completion.
