Five years ago Mr. Van Welde married Miss Anna Smith, a teacher in the public schools of Saginaw. Congestion of the heart was the cause of death. Mr. Van Welde was 35 years old and besides his wife leaves two children, Henry Jr. and Mary, and also his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Van Welde of Detroit.
