I only saw her once in my life. She and her son, Earl, made us a visit when we lived in Hartley, IA. That was before WW I. Shortly after they left, my father received word that she was found dead with a broken neck in the farm privy near Denhoff, Sheridan County, North Dakota. I remember by grandfather saying that McClosky was the nearest town of any consequence about 10 miles west of Denhoff."
