Note: N988 DEATH CLAIMS MILO V. CARR, AFTER LONG ILLNESS Deceased Was One of the Older and Better Known Residents of Norwich Norwich, July 9-Milo V. Carr, one of the older and better known residents of Norwich, died at his home, No. 17 Division Street, at 7:30 this morning after a long period of failing health starting with a shock he suffered four years ago. For 25 years or longer, Mr. Carr was superintendent of the Rushmore Creamery and Milk Shipping Plant on Hale street, since converted to the use of the Chenango Equipment Company. He formed a wide acquaintance among the farmers as well as the townspeople. He was a member of the Canasawacta Lodge of Odd Fellows. Mr. Carr was born March 9, 1844, in the town of German, the son of Jonathan and Abigail (Black) Carr. On February 19, 1868, he married Miss Margaret Keough, who died in 1917. One son, John E. Carr, survives with a granddaughter, Margaret Carr, of this city. Other near relatives are two nieces, Mrs. Frank P. Brown and Mrs. Elvin G. Cook, of Norwich and two nephews, Howard Daley of Schenectady and Clifford Daley of Gallupville, N. Y. Funeral services will be held at his late home on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, with burial beside his late wife in Mount Hope Cemetery, Rev. Lloyd S.
