  Jacob Foulkrod, an aged resident of Oxford, met w tragic death, struck by the pay train on the Central Division Railroad, while walking on the track at West Branch Creek. He had been visiting his sisters at Lincoln University. He was evidently bewildered by the sudden approach of the train, running back and forth. There was an inquest. Revs A. D. Mink, W. Barrows and F. B. Harvey conducted funeral. Buried at cemetery at Nottingham. He was a shoemaker, and proficient at it. His children are Mrs. John Smith of Glenroy, Mrs. Charles Holton, Mrs. David Taylor, Mrs. Christian Segars, of Oxford, Mrs. James Regs? Nottingham, Mrs. Samuel Peters and Mrs Elmer Melrath, Philadelphia. No clue who married which man. Four sisters.
