Note: ocated. Later he moved to Montgomery. 1830 census shows him in Sycamore Twp, Hamilton County. In 1830 he lived where Sharonville later grew. His son, John, was there with his young family, as well. Samuel at this time had a family of 12. Buried at Hopewell Cemetery, Montgomery Ohio But his son John is buried at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, Hamilton County, Sycamore Township, Ohio. -------------------------------------------- will. It appearing to the Probate Court, that on the 27th cay of February AD 1851. The last Will and Testament of Samuel Riker, deceased was duly admitted to Probate and Record in the Court of Common Please of Hamilton County Ohio, and the Record of said will was afterwards by law transferred to the probate Court of said County, and that the original record of said will and the Probate thereof upon the Record and Journal of said Court were destroyed in the burning of the Court House in March 29th ___ 1884, but that the original Will and the testimony of the witnesses thereto were preserved; it is now ordered by the Probate Court on its own motion etc. .... In the name of Almight God Amen. I Samuel Riker of the coutny of Hamilton and State of Ohio do make and publish this my last will and testament . Item first I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah Riker all the property both Real and personal of which I may die possessed except so much of the latter as may be necessary to pay my debs and defray the funeral expences to be held and enjoyed by her so long as she lives. Item second. - whatever she leaves divided among his children. Thomas, James, Joel, David, S C, George, Emeline C Riger, .. heris of Margeret Ann, ___ and William Riker (their paretns) and John Riker. George W 23, John riker 17, Mahlon 6 were still at home. In 1830 he lived in Sycamore, Hamilton, Ohio. 10 people under 20. 1820 ditto, 10 people in all. 8 under 16.
