  One of the oldest residents of Reading, died at the home of his son Adam Dehart. He was born in Alsace township. his parents were John and Mary Dehart. He learned the trade of weaver with his father, and worked that trade for 27 years. He came to Reading about 50 years ago and has resided here ever since. He was twice married. His first wife was Sarah Briner. They had the following children: Daniel, John, Sarah,w/o Reuben Breidegam; Lucetta,w/o John Van Pelt; Cordellia, w/o Jeremiah Rowe; and Caroline, w/o Jacob Miller. His second wife was Julia Ebbert and they had these children: Eva, Adam, David E., George and Mary.
  This is the information I had on his wives. However another version is that Sarah was an Ebert.
